- General Waitlist: You get a small refund if you cancel four hours before departure, with a deduction of around 60 to 120 rupees.
- Confirmed General Tickets: Canceling between 48 to 4 hours before departure means you lose about 240 rupees from your refund.
- Premium Tatkal and Group Bookings: No refunds for Premium Tatkal. Group bookings attract a 25 percent penalty if canceled a day before travel.
Basically, if you are booking Tatkal or Premium Tatkal, you should be completely sure about your journey.
